The bass
In a food web for the baiji dolphin, the baiji would be at the top as an apex predator, feeding on various fish species like carp and catfish. Its prey would include smaller fish, crustaceans, and insects. Other organisms in the food web could include birds, such as egrets and herons, that feed on the same fish species as the baiji.
A king vulture is a heterotroph. This means it cannot produce its own food and instead relies on consuming other organisms for energy. Specifically, king vultures feed primarily on carrion, scavenging on the remains of dead animals. This dietary habit classifies them as scavengers within the ecological food web.
Food webs and food chains are the same thing but a food web is made out of many food chains. A food chain in an aquatic area would be like the great white shark->big fish-> small fish->plankton. The arrows mean what the animals eat. The Great White will be at the top because there is no other bigger animal to devour ( eat) it. Food webs would be much bigger. It would have all of these food chains mixed together to make a huge web. :) :) :P
In the epipelagic zone, the food web typically includes phytoplankton at the base, which are then eaten by zooplankton. Zooplankton are consumed by small fish, which in turn are preyed upon by larger fish, marine mammals, and birds. This food chain provides energy and nutrients to sustain life in the epipelagic zone.
Food web.
the food web for the pacific is: plankton-plant-small fish-big fish-shark-squid-whale So that's the food web of the pacific
A food chain is a sequence of links from one species to another in a food web. Food chains show links from producer to consumer organisms. For example: aquatic vegetation ---- fish ------- seagull On the other hand a food web shows interconnections between food chains. For example: aquatic vegetation ----------- fish --- seagull or fish ----- larger fish -------- sea eagle In this food web there is a link from fish to seagull and also a link from fish to larger fish to sea eagle

how can we draw a sample food web for a lake a food web is just a complex assortment of food chains so for a lake you could say algea-->midge larvea-->(young) white bass-->channel catfish but carp also --> white bass (-->gives energy to)
A piranha food web shows where this fish fits into its environment in terms of food. The piranha eats other fish, so it is not at the bottom, but other animals, such as crocodiles, eat it, so it is also not at the top of the food web.
zooplancton, phytonplacton, fish, squid, NARWHAL!!!!

A food web for a fish will look different depending on what type of consumer the fish is. A fish that's a primary consumer will not be in the center of the web. Secondary or higher level consumers, such as sharks, will be in the center.
