It would depend on where in Italy you are. Italy stretches quite far North-South, and has quite high mountains too. South and low will still be fairly warm, North and high will be cooler.
Hurricanes can only form in tropical and subtropical regions where warm ocean water provides the energy needed for their formation and intensification. In the Northern Hemisphere, they usually form between June and November, while in the Southern Hemisphere, the typical season is from November to April.
Hurricanes often plague the Caribbean between June and November, which is known as hurricane season. The warm ocean temperatures during this time create ideal conditions for these powerful storms to form.
Its normally hot and the local foods they have are cheaper because they grow locally of course, (eg: tomatoes-sauces, olives-oliveoil, sunflowers-sunfloweroil, etc...)
Italy is not typically prone to hurricanes. However, the most notable tropical cyclone to impact Italy was Medicane Cleopatra in November 2013. It caused severe flooding and landslides in Sardinia, resulting in the loss of 18 lives and significant damage to infrastructure and properties.
It really depends which part of Italy you're going to, but in general terms June is a very pleasant month throughout the country. It's warm without being too hot, although the evenings might not be quite warm enough to sit outside without a jacket. The end of the month obviously becomes warmer as spring goes into summer. In terms of clothes, it's best to wear layers so that you can take some off if it's very warm, put some on if it becomes a little chilly. There's also always a chance of rain, so pack a small umbrella and, if it looks a little cloudy, carry it in your handbag. I've added a link to a page specifically about Rome in the spring, as this is where many tourists head to.
