The Curent activity level on a scale of 1-4 is 3 last updated on September 8th. This interpretation was made on seismic data as well as visual observations. The level three alert means watch and is the second highest alert system for a volcano. Unfortunately due to the language difference it is difficult for me to get much more information than that on the current Tambora Activity.
Yes, Krakatoa ( or Krakatau, as it is said in Indonesian, which is where it is located,) is still highly active. It's most recent eruption was in November of the year 2010
Krakatoa is not associated with a hot spot. It is associated with a subduction zone.
Mt Lassen is not active right now but it is soon to be active in the future. Also Mt Shasta is going to be active too.
nothing everything just died.
There is no way to predict with certainty if or when Mount Krakatoa will erupt again. It is an active volcano, so there is always a possibility of it erupting in the future. Monitoring by volcanologists can provide some early warning signs, but eruptions can still occur with little warning.

Krakatoa was on the island of Krakatoa. There is now a new island called Anak Krakatau.

Acid (highly siliceous) - much of it andesite if I recall my reading of it correctly. Krakatoa (or '~tau') is a still-active island-arc volcano above a complex, very active subduction zone.
