Most of the asteriods that fly in space are made out of rock but SOME are make out of ice. If you have a question that goes 'Are asteriods made out of ice or rocks?' Write rocks because most asteriods are made out of them.
By the way, this website might not be the website that you will rely on because people can make up the answer.
BUT, I garuentee you, that I am NOT making up the answer but i STRONLY suggest that you search the question up again on another website to make sure that it is correct...!
:D

Saturn's rings are not made of asteroids. They are primarily composed of chunks of ice and rock ranging in size from tiny grains to a few meters across. These particles orbit Saturn in a circular path due to the planet's gravity.
Comets are largely made of ice and the ice and rocky materials they are made of are more loosely packed than an asteroid which is typically more solid chunks of rock and metal.
Comets are composed mostly of ice while asteroids are mostly made of rock or metal.
Comets are a mix of dust, rock, and ice, while asteroids are primarily made of rock and metal. Comets usually have a tail when they approach the Sun due to the melting of the ice, while asteroids do not have tails.
Actually generally speaking Asteroids are heavily composed of high density rock. Dust and Ice are generally the properties of a Comet mostly because they aren't formed near the sun.
Asteroids, meteoroids, and comets are space objects that are made of chunks of rock. Asteroids are rocky bodies that orbit the Sun within the asteroid belt, meteoroids are smaller rocky fragments that travel through space, and comets are a mixture of rock, dust, ice, and frozen gases.
Asteroids. Most asteroids lie between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
Beacuse asteroids are chunks of solid rock - Comets are primarily lumps of ice - which melts as it nears the sun !
Asteroids are primarily rock and ice
im guessing that its because asteroids are made of rock and some rings of planet are made of ice and dust as some of the planet. if its a school question i hope u get it right and if you get it wrong im sorri :(

They are both in space and there made of rock, dust, and ice and they can see them here on earth.
Mostly rock and ice. Some have large percentages of metals such as iron and even gold. They are remnants of the creation of our solar system. Chunks of matter that did not collect and combine to form planets.
