No if it did exist it was an ancient city
There is no concrete evidence that Santorini is Atlantis. The idea that the island of Santorini could be the legendary lost city of Atlantis is a popular theory, but it remains speculative and unproven. Atlantis is a mythical island mentioned by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato, and its exact location and existence are still debated among scholars.

Earthquakes were responsible for its demise, not Volcanism. At least this is the drift from the Platonic account. Tidal waves, shoals of muddled rock- well a gloomy picture.
According to Plato: " there occurred portentous earthquakes and floods, and one grievous day and night befell them, when the whole body of your warriors was swallowed up by the earth, and the island of Atlantis in like manner was swallowed up by the sea and vanished".

Teyla is the leader of a race called the Athosians. Her and her people were on the planet that the Atlantis expedition crew 1st visited after they arrived to Atlantis. Her people where attacked by the Wraith and she (and a few of Shepard's team) were captured. Shepard saved her and her people, and gave them refuge in Atlantis, were she realized that she could do more for her people by helping John Sheppard's team defeat the Wraith. She has been part of his team ever since. However, if you are asking who plays Teyla then the answer is Rachel Luttrell. Teyla Emmagan is a leader of Athosians, a human race of farmers, hunters, and traders from the planet Athos in the Pegasus Galaxy. When her planet is attacked by the Wraith, she and her people move to Atlantis. It is there, she becomes the member of Sheppard's team.
