Non-Persistant
It is a colorless contact insecticide, C14H9Cl5, toxic to humans and animals when swallowed or absorbed through the skin. It contains pesticides. Substances that are not brocken down by biological processes are called non-biodegradable subtances. or Non-biodegradable substance are those which do not decay over a period of time when buried in the soil. ex:metal, plastic, DDT, etc.
People who understand DDT may disagree with its use due to environmental concerns. DDT is a persistent organic pollutant that accumulates in the environment and can harm non-target species, including humans. Alternatives that are less harmful to the environment and human health are available for pest control.
i dont think so.....DDT contains lots of chlorine, a very low vapor pressure, and is biologically active. So it will harm the ozone layer, but it likely to be tied up near the ground rather than reach the ozone layer.
DDT is an insecticide.
DDT is dichlorodiphenyltrichlorethane; biomagnification of DDT in some organisms is possible.
A non-persistent pollutant is a type of pollutant that breaks down relatively quickly in the environment, usually over a matter of days to weeks. These pollutants do not accumulate in the environment or in living organisms to the same extent as persistent pollutants.
DDT (dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane) is a persistent organic pollutant that is considered non-biodegradable in the environment. It can remain in the environment for a long time, accumulating in organisms and the food chain, leading to harmful effects on wildlife and humans.

DDT biodegradability is extremely low.
yes
Persistant pesticides last longer than non persistant pesticides. This means that they can build up in animals and humans and cause more damage.
Wastes that rot by the action of decomposers eg. peels of vegetables or fruit, etc are called biodegradableWastes that do not rot by the action of decomposers eg. plastic bottles, etc are called nonbiodegradable
It is a very good fuel. This is because it is a non pollutant. It is non pollutant because it does not contain carbon. By the way, it can be produced by electrolysis. It is not found as bulk but only industrially produced.
A non-point pollutant is a pollutant which has a source that is not readily apparent. Unlike pollution from sewage plants which is easy to indentify, non-point pollution is often caused by rain, or snowfall which causes pollutants to run off and empty in body of water and such. They carry away pollutants from their sources or points, which is why this effect is called Nonpoint source pollution
It is non-polar. There are no partial charges.
