No. Fire is a combination of chemical and physical changes in which substances interact to release heat, light, smoke and ash. Lightning occurs when the negative charges (electrons) in the bottom of the cloud are attracted to the positive charges (protons) in the ground. In some instances, fire can be created by lightning.

Sheet lightning and Heat lightning are very similar, if not the same. They form the same way, but might strike different. For instance, sheet lightning looks more like a sheet in the sky, (strange eh? :D) and doesn't normally strike down into the ground, and when you have heat lightning, you see differently. But mostly, they form the same way. =D good luck!
Yes, they are essentially the same thing. A lightning arrester is a device used to protect structures from damage caused by lightning strikes, which can also be referred to as a thunder arrester due to the loud noise produced by thunder during a lightning storm.
No, lightning is not made out of fire. Lightning is an electrical discharge that occurs during a thunderstorm, caused by the buildup and release of electric charge in the atmosphere. It is extremely hot and can cause things to catch fire, but it is not fire itself.

Sorry dude, I don't think you can. The only thing close to the fire effect is the lightning effect, which is called electricity.
The term "fight fire with fire" came from Metallica's 1984 album, Ride the Lightning's song "Fight Fire with Fire". The meaning is to respond to the attack with the same method.

that means its charging if its not charging all i got to say is my ipad 2 does the same thing
Same thing that would happen to you...
Absolutely. Same as any other living thing, lightning is deadly.
No, lightning is not a living thing.
Fire and lightning
Yes, lightning can cause a house to catch fire if it strikes the building or ignites flammable materials such as wood or roof shingles. It is important to have proper lightning protection in place to reduce the risk of fire.
