hermaphrodites
Several of the planets could be considered anomalies. Mercury is an anomaly because it has an abnormally large core in proportion to its size. Venus is an anomaly because it rotates in the opposite direction from the other planets. Earth is an anomaly because it has an abnormally large moon in porportion to its size. Uranus is an anomaly because its rotational axis is at a nearly 90 degree angle to those of the other planets.
Deletion: loss of a chromosomal segment. Duplication: repetition of a chromosomal segment. Inversion: reversal of a chromosomal segment. Translocation: movement of a chromosomal segment to a new location on a different chromosome.
An episome carrying a chromosomal fragment is known as a F-prime (F') plasmid. It contains part of the bacterial chromosome along with the F plasmid DNA. The chromosomal fragment can be transferred between bacteria during conjugation.
Yes, most clams are hermaphrodites, meaning they possess both male and female reproductive organs. This allows them to reproduce by both self-fertilization and cross-fertilization with other individuals.
sponges are hermaphrodites. Sperm and ova derived from archeocytes or choanocytes which undergo gametogenesis. Cross fertilization and internal fertilization is taken place.
More hermaphrodites.

A chromosomal anomaly is just as it seems, an abnormality which is an "error"occurring during DNA coding. These errors could occur during gamete (sperm and egg) development (meosis), or possibly later on during normal cell division (mitosis). The later of these scenarios would result in a condition know as mosaicism, which is when not all of one's cells have the anomaly. A genetic disorder, although also a part of one's chromosome which is not functioning as intended, is a genetic "alteration" which is essentially a chromosomal anomaly which can have a traceable family history. however, these are not "errors" as the the genes for these can be found in one's parent's DNA. Chromosomes can be inherited, but, as I said, they are produced by errors, while genetic disorders are acquired when a parent passes on a gene that they carry. Good Luck
Anomaly is a noun.
The word "anomaly" comes from the Greek word "anomalos," which means uneven or irregular. It is derived from the prefix "a-" (meaning not) and "homalos" (meaning even).

People with Klinefelter's syndrome are not hermaphrodites, and people who are hermaphrodites do not have Klinefelter's syndrome.
Anomaly means, essentially, irregularity. An example sentence would be: The anomaly of the necklace, is what she liked about it.
