If you do it, just be sure to take the same precautions while you transfer it as you would when you were using the aerosol hairspray normally. (Keep away from sparks, flames or heating elements, etc.)
This isn't particularly dangerous, but it may be pointless - you will gum up the works of your pump bottle and the pump bottle will probably apply the hairspray too thick and/or very unevenly.

Non aerosol refers to products that are not dispensed in a pressurized container with a propellant. Instead, they are typically dispensed using a pump, trigger, or other mechanical means. Non aerosol products are often considered more environmentally friendly as they do not release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the atmosphere.
To open a liquid soap bottle, simply twist the cap or pump counter-clockwise to remove it. Squeeze or pump the bottle to dispense the soap. Close the cap or pump by twisting it back on clockwise when not in use.
An aerosol is a cloud of solid or liquid particles in a gas. I think you are asking if FDS contains a propellant. I believe the Isobutane in the product is used as a propellant and is also what makes the product flammable.
A collecting bottle is a container used for collecting liquid or gas samples during an experiment or testing process. The bottle is typically connected to a sampling device, such as a pipette or pump, which allows the precise transfer of the sample into the bottle without contamination. Once the sample is collected, the bottle can be sealed to preserve the sample for further analysis.
The number one ozone-friendly hairspray is typically labeled as "ozone-friendly" or "environmentally friendly." Some popular brands that offer such products include ECOLOGIC by L’Oreal, EuforaStyle, and Paul Mitchell.
You can but it wont spray because it is a thick liquid
I don't know what the hairspray was called, but it wasn't Dippity-Do. That was gel.
Aerosol hairspray typically contains propellants and can contribute to air pollution and respiratory issues if inhaled, while pump hairspray usually relies on a mechanical pump and is often considered more environmentally friendly. However, both types can contain similar chemicals that may cause irritation or allergic reactions. Overall, the choice between the two depends on personal preference, environmental concerns, and sensitivity to ingredients.

I need a non flammable pump hairspray to send to my wife while she is in basic training in a small travel size
can you bring pump; non aerosal sp;ay in your carry on
No, the pump spray is better. It does not put unwanted gases into the atmosphere.
This sounds like you have a PCP rifle. If it works with the bottle, then the problem is with the pump. Look for problems there. Check to see if the pump is working.
yes it can be dangerous

To replace the pump on a MK6 2002 Fiesta washer bottle, first disconnect the battery for safety. Remove the washer bottle by unscrewing any bolts and disconnecting the hoses and electrical connectors. Take out the old pump from the bottom of the bottle, then install the new pump by reversing the removal process, ensuring all connections are secure. Finally, reattach the bottle to the vehicle and reconnect the battery before testing the new pump.
