Not likely.

Most eggs produced for grocery stores are farmed from caged chickens that never even come in contact with a male so there is no chance of fertilization.

In the case of free range chickens, even they are usually kept away from males.

In the rare event that a small production farm with free range chickens (where a male might come in contact with a female) and actually does manage to allow a fertilized egg to slip through into a store it is still unlikely to hatch because it will have been refrigerated and not kept warm enough for proper incubation.

The urban legends that chicks have hatched in grocery stores have all been deliberate pranks.

Shop brought eggs can in fact be correctly incubated and hatched, although the chances of shop brought eggs being fertile is slim. A majority of eggs found in shops are from chickens who've had no contact with a rooster, so therefore will not be fertile, but those eggs from local farms/free rangers often do have roosters running amongst the flock. I have personally heard of people hatching Chickens, Ducks and Quails from shop brought eggs. Eggs are incubated at 99.5 degrees F in a forced air incubator and incubation is 20-22 days. Eggs must be turned at least 3 times per day, stop turning on the 18th day and up humidity for the last 3 days (60-65% for the first 18 days and 80-85% for the last 3)
