Lemons (and lemon juice) are relatively low on the pH scale, compared to water, which is a neutral 7.
However, compared to other acids, it's not very strong, there are substances much lower on the pH scale.
A low pH solution will inherently be acidic. 12.0 M hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid both are extremely acidic. highly concentrated high dissociation molecules make for very acidic solutions.
Lemon juice is an electrolyte. Electrolytes conduct electricity when in a solution of water
Lemon juice can inhibit some bacteria if they are sensitive to lower (acidic) pH. As lemon juice is an acid. But there are very high numbers of bacteria in lemon wedges when tested. See link below:
Lemon juice is an acid. The metal in the paper clip reacts with the acid to produce an electric current. It's the same process as the electricity produced in a battery.

An Acid. Such as battery acid, hydrochloric acid, Tomato Juice, acid rain, lemon juice, vinegar etc.
The pH level of acid is low.
Citric acid and water is the main componenst of lemon juice as water is neutral and Citric acid is an acid it has a pH <7
Citric acid, found in most fruits, has roughly a pH of 2 - which is quite low.
Lemon has Citric acid in it.
Pomegranite juice has a relatively high citric acid level.
Lemon juice has a very high acid content that causes a lightening of hair color.
A fruit with very high concentrated acid such as a lemon.
The pH is low or the litmus paper turns pink.
low burn your hair with high
Its acidic because of the citric acid inside the lemon
it depends on how much acid is in a fruit. If there is a lot of acid the pH is low, and the fruit is sour. If the pH is high, the fruit is more likely to be sweeter, and there is little acid in the fruit. The acid that causes the sourness in the fruit can vary, but is in many cases citric or ascorbic acid.
