Fungus virus Antibiotics protist
It is not. HIV is a virus. It has a completely different make-up from a bacteria. The most important difference between a bacteria and a virus is that a virus does not have the ability to replicate on its own. It needs a host, another cell, to reproduce, unlike bacteria which can reproduce on their own.

Mumps is a virus, that is why you should have received a vaccine for this as a child. You certainly received one if you attended public school in the United States because it is a requirement for all children to be vaccinated before being enrolled.
Fungus
Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) are caused by viruses. Measles is caused by the measles virus, mumps by the mumps virus, and rubella by the rubella virus. These diseases are preventable through vaccination, which is part of the MMR vaccine.
fungus, bacteria (sometimes) and virus. :)
Protista
Mumps is caused by a virus, not a microbe in the traditional sense. Specifically, it is caused by the mumps virus, which is a member of the Paramyxoviridae family. Unlike bacteria, viruses like the mumps virus cannot reproduce on their own and require a host cell to replicate. Vaccination has effectively reduced the incidence of mumps in many parts of the world.
