Glacis - a slope, especially one that is not very long or steep
At the very front edge of a warm front boundary, the clouds are typically stratus or nimbostratus. These clouds form as warm, moist air rises over cooler air, leading to gradual lifting and widespread cloud cover. They often bring steady, light precipitation as the warm air gradually ascends and cools, resulting in overcast skies. As the warm front progresses, these clouds may thicken and lead to more significant rainfall.
You can't have a continent rise from land, but you can have land rise from the continental shelf, which may be under water, and that is called an island.
A shallow slope is when the numbers for the rise and run cause the line to be slanted very little (between zero degrees and 25). Those numbers are just estimations. Do not by any means take them to be definite.
When contour lines are far apart on a topographic map, it indicates a gentle slope or flat terrain. The spacing between contour lines represents the steepness of the terrain, with wider spacing indicating a more gradual slope.
At the start of the hill the slope was very gradual but it quickly got steeper.

It would be very difficult for vehicle to climb up a hill if the road is very steep.Hill roads are built with gradual slopes so that a vehicle can climb it up easily. The longer the slope for same height the easier will be the climbing for vehicle, but it has to travel a greater distance.
The Great Plains are very dense, long, and short grasses. There are no trees around and it has a very gradual slope to it, but always seems flat.
Creep slope refers to the gradual movement of soil or rock downslope due to gravity over long periods of time. It is a slow continuous process and typically occurs on a gentle slope. Creep slope can lead to the deformation of structures built on or near the affected slope.

Vertical. Te horizontal like has zero slope ( no slope) and the vertical line has infinite (very very high) slope
4 is on the front of the green book laying flat. you will find it on very edge of the top of the book
The Very Edge was created in 1962.
