dogs and cats are not truly omnivores, but actually carnivores, sure they may occasionally munch on some greenery, but their digestive system is designed to digest meat, not plants. Some omnivores include: gorillas (they eat leaves and some insects), humans, iguanas, bears ( they eat fish, berries, etc.). I'm sure that there are many more than my few examples, but I had to correct dogs and cats...that's just not an acceptable answer in my book. Hope this helps.<<< this statement is true, but whoever wrote this has listed Canines (dogs) like Gray-wolves as omnivores. So i have deleted Canines because Wolves, Coyotes, Dingos, African Wild Dogs, etc. are carnivores, not omnivores.
