They co founded cell theory. In 1836/7 they showed that when air goes through red-hot glass tubes, or through sulphuric acid, the amount of oxygen stays the same but living things are killed. They passed this sterile air through boiled broth and nothing grew. then when they exposed the broth to normal air, moulds and microbes soon grew. By doing this they proved that the current theory of spontaneous generation was wrong. However, scientists claimed that they had destroyed something important in the air. ( spontaneous generation= the theory that living thing can be made by nonliving things (e.g. fish can be made from things in the river like mud))
Matthias Schleiden is famous for helping to develop the cell theory in biology. He concluded that all plants are made of cells, laying the foundation for the understanding that cells are the basic building blocks of life. Schleiden's work was crucial in advancing our knowledge of cell biology.
Matthias Schleiden discovered plant living cells and his obstacles were to become famous from discovered cells.
Schwann was famous for his cell theory, which proposed that all living organisms are composed of cells, and that cells are the basic unit of structure and function in all living things. This theory laid the foundation for modern cell biology.

Matthias Schleiden did not invent the microscope. He was a German botanist who, along with Theodor Schwann, formulated the cell theory in the 19th century. Schleiden's work focused on the role of cells in plant structure and function.
