The Law of Motion and it states: a body remains at rest or in motion with a constant velocity unless acted upon by external force.
Newtons Laws of motion
Newton worked out a theory of gravitation which was modified by Einstein. He also described Optics and motion. Only one of his theories covers gravity.
Energy cannot be created, nor destroyed. It can, however be converted from one form to another. Energy cannot be created, nor destroyed. It can, however be converted from one form to another.
Either Albert Einstein or Sir Isaac Newton. Lauren Bowens aged 9
Newton improved his ideas by comparing his ideas deductions with expeimental obseervations. Newton used Keplers findings and data on the shape of the earth and value of gravity. Newton also used mathematical calculus. With his calculus he could derive some of his relations and their values. Finally, Newton was an original thinker, not inclined to follow the academic herd. This allowed him to aandon, popular but wrong ideas.
Newton summarized his ideas about gravity in a law now known as the law of universal gravitation. <3333333333 answered by JULIE A.
Newton's ideas are called Newton's Laws of Motion.

The most famous theory he found out was; gravity.
Isaac Newton with his law of universal gravitation is perhaps best known for explaining gravity, however in modern physics gravitation is described using Albert Einstein's general theory of relativity.

He needed gravity because he had ideas about motion. He believed gravity caused planets to revolve around the sun instead of flying off into space.
