It depends on what you mean by "chubby." Plus size models may be larger than regular fashion models but they are still required to maintain strict measurements and a proportional weight range.

Plus size models are ideally 5'8" or taller and their measurements should be at least 10 inches apart from each other. EX: 42-32-42 (bust, waist, hips)

The ideal sizes are from 10-18.

If you think you meet the requirements, then start contacting modeling agencies that represent plus size models. If the agency doesn't have a plus size division, then skip it because they won't be able to help you. Go onto the agency websites and see what the specific requirements are for sending in pictures and information (no two agencies ask for the same thing) and then follow the instructions accordingly. Attend open casting calls whenever possible since this allows you to meet with the agency staff for an evaluation without the need for an appointment.

Note whether the agencies you are interested in want professional or non professional pictures. The majority of them will request non professional, regular digital snapshots. Many new models make the mistake of investing in a portfolio with pro photos when that is not what will impress an agency. They can tell a model's potential from regular snapshots where you aren't wearing makeup or are all dolled up. Also stay away from modeling schools and classes. Agencies train their new models for free after signing them.
