polythene is a polymer of ethene. polythene primary while synthesis is a waxy solid, but it is made into transparent form by processing. The waxy solid which is the pure polythene burns in oxygen at elevated temperature to give carbon dioxide and water. but the processed polythene which we use in our daily lives, will burn in air to form CO2 and H2O along with other substances say carbon particles viz SPMs'. the equation is such that: -
(C2H4)n + 3nO2 ----> 2nO2 + 2nH2O
I am doing research on extraction of fuel from polythene, so I know a little on combustion products of polythene

The chemical formula for carbon dioxide is CO2.
O2 is the chemical formula for Oxygen. CO2 is the formula for Carbon Dioxide. (One Carbon, 2 Oxygen)
The formula for carbon dioxide is CO2, which indicates that it contains 1 atom of carbon and 2 atoms of oxygen.
Carbon dioxide is composed of one carbon atom and two oxygen atoms. The chemical symbol for carbon dioxide is CO2.
A chemical formula shows the elements in the compound and the ratio of atoms. For example, the chemicals formula for carbon dioxide is CO2 . In the carbon dioxide, there are always two oxygen atoms to every one carbon atom.
The chemical formula for carbon dioxide is CO2. It consists of one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms.
The WORD EQUATION FOR CARBON DIOXIDE IS: CARBON + OXYGEN ---> CARBON DIOXIDE. ;)
CO2 is also known as Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide consists of one carbon atom, and two oxygen atoms.carbon and oxygenCO2 is the chemical formula of carbon dioxide. One carbon atom, two oxygen atoms.
The chemical formula for carbon dioxide is CO2.
The molecular formula of carbon dioxide is CO2
O2 is the chemical formula for Oxygen. CO2 is the formula for Carbon Dioxide. (One Carbon, 2 Oxygen)
if you mean carbon dioxied, the formula is: CO2 If you mean carbon monoxied, the formula is: CO If you mean Carbon Dioxide, the formula is: CO2 If you mean Carbon Monoxide, the formula is: CO [Corrections for spelling only]
The formula for carbon dioxide is CO2, which consists of one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms.
The chemical formula for carbon dioxide is CO2, which represents one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms.
The empirical formula for carbon dioxide is CO2. This formula represents the simplest whole-number ratio of carbon atoms to oxygen atoms in a molecule of carbon dioxide. The molecular formula, which gives the actual number of each type of atom in a molecule, is also CO2, as carbon dioxide consists of one carbon atom bonded to two oxygen atoms.
C stands for carbon and O stands for oxygen. In a molecule of carbon dioxide there is one atom of carbon and 2atoms of oxygen, so the formula is CO2
The formula for carbon dioxide is CO2, which indicates that it contains 1 atom of carbon and 2 atoms of oxygen.
