Of course they should. Exactly the same as eveyrone else.
Answer:
A scientist's main concern is whether things are correct or incorrect, a judgment of whether measurable criteria are met. As an example "Does 2+2=5?". "Right or Wrong" implies measuring things against an arbitrary (often culturally based) set of criteria of morality, beauty, good taste, etc. Example "is it right to work on a cure for rare diseases while common diseases (or diseases that only affect the poor) are neglected?"
Most scientists attempt to look at the overall cost benefit ratios of their activities, but these studies cannot determine a rightness or wrongness factor. If science waited on a resolution to all the right or wrong considerations, no research or science would be done.
If you develop an experiment that truly demonstrates that the hypothesis is wrong*, then the hypothesis will lose its acceptance in the scientific community. * Such an experiment would have to be repeatable by other scientists AND accepted by interested scientists as a proof that the hypothesis is wrong.
Reason 1 - Many people do not want to accept that the scientists may be right, they want to stay as positive as they can. Reason 2 - Many scientists have been wrong many times before in the past, people may not want to waste their time evacuating or worrying for nothing (boy who cried wolf).
hell no! who freaken would...dont share the info as the otha scientist will steal it! and take credit for it all. the other guy is wrong scientist should share there science info so they may improve there product or may the could stop cancer or make a hologram
When the results of an investigation are found to be incorrect, scientists should first review their methods and data to identify any errors or biases. They should then conduct additional experiments or analyses to verify the findings and correct any mistakes. Transparency is crucial, so they should communicate the errors and the revised conclusions to the scientific community. Lastly, sharing the lessons learned helps improve future research practices.
Yes. It certainly is. Because that it what science is. There is a whole universe out there and we are trying to figure it out. We come up with theories and experiments that try to show that our ideas work. That our idea demonstrates a truth about the universe. If we thought it did and, yet, another person comes along and shows that we were wrong well, we are very pleased. Nothing better. My theory was wrong. Discard it and find a better one. Find out why it was wrong. Notice that this does not happen often in other walks of life. Like a politician or a lawyer or a salesman or a webmaster. Scientists seek truth. When we find it we share it. People - other scientists - then try to show us that we are wrong. They test our theory and our results. If they can, they destroy it. If they can destroy it then it deserved it. It was nonsense. It was wrong. It was not truth. Sometimes we are right and sometimes we are not. Sure, there are famous examples of scientists who just lied. Falsified their results and so on. Rare but true. However - on the whole honesty is the underlying trait of all scientists.
To determine how right or wrong their answer is.
No i don't think you should worry, and no i don't think there is something wrong with them. Everyone can have times when they eat less, but nothing to worry about :)
it should be. if you have them both side by side and they look alike it should bolt right in with no problem. you wont blow anything up by installing it even if its wrong so dont worry about it. give it a shot!
to know either it is right or wrong.
Do the right thing. If she is wrong, have the courage to tell her so and explain with all your love why she is wrong, and if she is right, don't try to prove her wrong and thank her for showing you what's right.
It's not something you should worry to much about. It's just general wear and tear.
Hypotheses are useful because they can be tested, and scientists love to test to prove if whether your theory is right or wrong.
Wrong. It should be she cares so much about you.
You are using the wrong tese. It should be Mom is angey right now because.... hope that helps.
The word is 'wrong'. Wrong is right if spelt wrong and if wrong is spelt right it is still wrong
Speaking as a dad - who is sometimes wrong - Apologise, and acknowledge that you were wrong. Let him know (a) why you were wrong, and (b) what made you realise that he is right. This is the start of a better relationship for both of you.
The scientists are saying a meteoroid will be coming in 2012. They might be right, they might be wrong. Who knows? We will all have to wait and find out.
