well, obviously, whales are generally very large. all species of whale have blowholes atop their heads, and all live in water for their entire lives. the largest whale is the blue whale, and the most popular would be the orca or killer whale, known as shamoo in sea world sporting black and white markings on its body. whales have baleen instead or teeth, so that they may drain the water out of their mouths before swallowing their food (generally krill). only the smaller whales like the orca and beluga whales have teeth. orca whales are known as killer whales because they hunt seals among other things.
