The tips of chromosomes are called telomeres, which are protective structures that consist of repetitive DNA sequences and associated proteins. Telomeres prevent the degradation of the chromosome ends during DNA replication and protect the genetic information from being lost or fused with other chromosomes. As cells divide, telomeres shorten, which is associated with aging and cellular senescence. Once they become too short, the cell can no longer divide, leading to a state of growth arrest.

Each resulting daughter cell should also contain 20 chromosomes. During the cell division process known as mitosis, the cell's chromosomes are duplicated and then divided equally between the two daughter cells.
Chromosomes
The repetitive DNA at the tip of each chromosome is called a telomere. Telomeres protect the chromosome from deterioration or fusion with neighboring chromosomes, and they shorten with each cell division. This shortening is linked to aging and disease.
There are 46 chromosomes in kidney cells, big toe cells, and tip-of-the-nose cells. This is because humans are diploid organisms (having two sets of chromosomes in all cells except gametes(23 chromosomes) and mature red blood cells, which extruded their nuclei when they were developing), and 46 is the human diploid number.
Pull seals are made by heating the neck of ampule below the tip while tip seals are made by melting the glass at tip of neck until a bead form that closes the opening

We are studying this in school and according to the facts back then its said to be rounded by Bartolomew Diaz.
The telomere is the protective cap of DNA on the tip of chromosomes. You lose a small amount of these telomeres each time the cell divides. Eventually the telomeres be lost as you age. Short chromosomes because of lack telomeres are one reason aging occurs.
