There are museums, the mountains, Bent's fort among others, plenty of parks and gardens, loads of trails, the lakes that are everywhere...and monuments and memorials. Plenty to do in Colorado, just depends on what part your going to. I live here.

I live in CO, and LOVE it. Though it's not good for people with breathing troubles, because of the low oxygen due to high elevation (Denver is 1 mile above sea level), there are a lot to do. It's best for those adventurers with plenty of hiking trails and mountains to ski and snowboard. The mountains are what Colorado is known for. There's plenty to due in downtown denver. The sports teams are phanomenal, especiall the nugget this year...they're on fire! But there are a lot of historical places to such as the museum of nature and science, and the kids museum. Bent's fort offers yummy cuisine and great information. There are some sand dunes, too. In Colorado Springs, there is the Air Force Academy. Colorado has a lot of things. Again, it depends on which part you go to, but every part of Colorado offers something fun.
