The rate of a Chemical reaction is affected by a number of factors, here are the commonly taught "Five factors of reaction rates":
1-Nature of the Reactants (Based on the atomic structure, ie. the stability of the reactants vs. the stability of the proposed products)
2-Ability of the Reactants to meet ( the state of the reactants: gases and liquids are more likely to react, AND the Surface area: powders have a greater surface area and therefore react quickly)
3- Concentration of the Reactants (the higher the concentration, the more likely the reactants are able to meet and react, thus increasing the reaction rate)
4- Temperature (the higher the temperature of the system, the faster the particles are moving (Kinetic Molecular Theory) and the faster they will collide, thus increasing the reaction rate)
5- Presence of Catalysts (Catalysts increase the reaction rate by overcoming the activation energy. They work by decreasing the reaction barrier of the Rate determining step, which is the slowest step of a chemical reaction)
Of course, there are other factors which affect the reaction rate of a given system, but these are the 5 commonly cited ones they teach you in high school. If you're interested, I'd suggest reading about Collision Theory and Transition State Theory.

Taste occurs when chemicals in food interact with taste receptors on taste buds, triggering nerve signals to the brain. This is a chemical reaction. The different taste receptors on taste buds are sensitive to the five basic tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami.
The five factors that affect climate are latitude, altitude, distance from the ocean, ocean currents, and prevailing winds. These factors influence temperature, precipitation, and weather patterns in a region. For example, areas at higher latitudes tend to be colder, while regions closer to the equator are warmer. Altitude can also affect temperature, with higher elevations generally being cooler.
The 5 forces that affect a population are limiting factors, natural disasters, climate change, introduction of non-native species, and population changes.
Five conditions that can cause spontaneous combustion include: presence of a flammable material, sufficient oxygen supply, heat source or ignition point, confinement of heat, and a chemical reaction that leads to self-heating.
Here are five examples of chemical formulas: NaCl Sodium Chloride H2O Water CO2 Carbon Dioxide NH3 Ammonia CO Carbon Monoxide
The five factors that affect processing time for lighteners are the strength of the lightener, the starting level of the hair, the desired level of lift, the hair's porosity, and the presence of any previous color or chemical treatments on the hair.
If five atoms of hydrogen are reactants in a chemical reaction, typically all five atoms will be found in the products unless some sort of splitting or rearrangement of atoms occurs during the reaction. It follows the principle of conservation of mass, meaning atoms cannot be created or destroyed in a chemical reaction.

Five signs of Chemical changes are... 1. light is emitted 2. sound 3. new smell 4. bubbles 5. changes in density There are more than five signs, but theses are the ones I can think of right now.
