The 1992 United Nations Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro defined "biodiversity" as "the variability among living organisms from all sources, including, 'inter alia', terrestrial, marine, and other aquatic ecosystems, and the ecological complexes of which they are part: this includes diversity within species, between species and of ecosystems". This is, in fact, the closest thing to a single legally accepted definition of biodiversity, since it is the definition adopted by the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity. Biodiversity then, consitsts of the entire range of variation of living organisms across all levels of organizations (genes, species, ecosystems).
The three values of biodiversity are ecological value (maintaining ecosystem function and stability), economic value (providing resources for industries such as agriculture and pharmaceuticals), and intrinsic value (acknowledging the inherent worth of all species).
Don't cut trees or use hairspray, cut down on driving and don't waste electric because if you do then they'll have to make more so try and recycle edit: While all of this is true, none of these directly maintain biodiversity. Also, hairspray propellants are are no longer CFCs, and are more or less harmless to the environment. Some ways to maintain biodiversity: 1. Stop planting monoculture crops in replacement of diverse forests/plains 2. Stop the use of herbicides 3. Carefully use fertilizers (to prevent algal blooms etc)

Coral reefs: 1. Increase aquatic biodiversity 2. Act as a habitat for aquatic organisms 3. Are used in bone replacements

The three major threats in air transport are terrorism, cyber attacks, and natural disasters. These threats can compromise both the safety of passengers and the security of air travel infrastructure. Airlines and governments work together to mitigate these risks through security measures and contingency plans.
Yes there are environmental threats and it is from polution. They do have 2 or 3 more threats but they are man related threats.
