Two unequal forces

The resultant force of two unequal forces clearly depends upon the magnitude of these forces and also depends on the angle of interception. One can clearly apply trigonometrical theorem for the same.

such as if force x and force y of x1 and y1 magnitude is acting on an object N and if the angle between these forces is (180) degrees this means they are acting on opposite direction , and resultant force will be in direction of force x1 ir x1 > y1 or y1 if y1 < x1

So these unequal forces must be studied along with the angle of interception

Hope this will give you a fair idea for calculation ( force is a vector and not scalier)

Balanced forces

What are equal forces acting on an object in opposite directions?

When equal forces act on an object in opposite directions, they create a state of balance known as equilibrium. This means that the object will not accelerate in any particular direction, but remain stationary or move at a constant velocity.

When two equal forces act in opposite directions they add up to?

If they were to collide their equal but opposite energy would cancel out.

What are two forces of equal strength acting in opposite dirrection on an object?

Two forces of equal strength acting in opposite directions on an object would result in a net force of zero on the object. This would cause the object to remain stationary or if it is already in motion, to continue moving at a constant velocity.

What happens when 2 forces are pushing in the opposite direction and with the same strength of force?

When two forces of equal strength are pushing in opposite directions, they will cancel each other out. This results in a net force of zero, and the object will remain stationary or continue on its current path with constant velocity.

What is forces that move in a opposite directions that are not o fequal strength?

When two forces move in opposite directions and are not of equal strength, the resulting motion will be in the direction of the stronger force. This is due to Newton's First Law of Motion, which states that an object will remain at rest or move in a straight line at a constant speed unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.

What is it when forces on an object are equal?

When forces on a body are equal, the body stays still. The forces have to be equal in strength but the direction of application should be exactly opposite.
