mmm... as we are aware of the fact that we are living beings as we breathe,we respond to stimulies or outer source, we grow in size ,we show movements and ya not to forget we die too. so these are the basic characteristics that a living thing shows.there are millions of characteristics shown by living things to jot down and also there are numerous behaviours were living things vary from each other. but the behaviours discussed above are the fundamental characteristics that they generally show.
