Acidic lava and basic lava.
Examples of molten rocks include lava, which is molten rock that reaches the Earth's surface, and magma, which is molten rock beneath the Earth's surface. Both lava and magma are composed of molten silicate materials and can vary in composition depending on the specific rock types that are melting.
Igneous, examples include Granite and Basalt
True. Lava flows and volcanic ash are indeed examples of magma that has reached the earth's surface during a volcanic eruption.
Extrusive igneous rock is formed from rapidly cooled lava at Earth's surface. Examples are obsidian and basalt.
A shield volcano. Generally they have runny lava that forms lots of thick layers. The Hawaiian island volcanos are good examples.

Some examples of rocks that absorb odors include activated charcoal, zeolite, and lava rocks. These rocks have porous surfaces that can trap and neutralize odors in the air.

why does the lava sink or rise?
If I'm not mistaken, lava didn't really shape the grand canyon, the Colarado River did. It slowly eroded the rock until it is the massive canyon we know today.
1. Bob's attitude was as calm as the eye of a hurricane.2. Jim was as angry as a hippo in a lava pit.
