I recently sowed some moonflower seeds indoors and more than half of them have germinated within 2 weeks and are growing like wildfire! I'm a first timer and it's great to see such instant results. The seeds have a hard shell so I soaked them in water for about 2 days before sowing. Other than that I just used regular potting mix from the garden center and had them covered with plastic before they fully germinated. -david

(Above was the previous answer but I just wanted to add something sorry David)

Also I know that mungbeans can grow up to 120mm within 5 days- Tymaga
