The Malpighian tubule system is a type of excretory andosmoregulatory system found in some Atelocerata (Insects andMyriapoda), arachnids and tardigrades.
The system consists of branching tubules extending from thealimentary canal that absorbs solutes, water, and wastes from the surrounding hemolymph. The wastes then are released from the organism in the form of solid nitrogenous compounds. The system is named after Marcello Malpighi, a seventeenth century anatomist.
It is unclear as to whether the Malpighian tubules of arachnids and those of the Uniramia are homologous or the result of convergent evolution
what organs of your urinary system called excretory organs
Insects and other arthropods have excretory organs called Malpighian tubules. These tubules are responsible for removing waste and regulating ions in the hemolymph (insect blood).
nephridia
Some examples of excretory organs in living organisms include the kidneys in humans, gills in fish, malpighian tubules in insects, and nephridia in earthworms. The excretory products produced by these organs include urine (containing waste products such as urea and salts), ammonia, uric acid, and feces.
The paired organs which remove waste materials from the blood are called the kidneys.

The organs of excretion in flatworms are contractile vacuoles. Flatworms are invertebrates that do not have any specialized excretion organs.

Excretion means to get rid of . The organs of the urinary system remove and rid the body of waste products so this is why they are called exretory organs.

Several systems and organs are excretory: the skin, the lungs and the kidneys.
A system made up of excretory organs is the urinary system.
