I believe that it is very possible to create a super power plant that releases the stored energy in the magna chamber as fast or faster than the earth creates it and uses it to drive steam turbines to provide a major new source of energy. Some of this kind of technology is already being used it is called geothermal energy. We both desperately need new sources of energy and to stop super volcanoes from erupting and destroying life, as we know it. Yellowstone could erupt at anytime now, as it is literally overdue. Given the benefits of being able to create super power plants are over thirty sites throughout the world and saving mankind at the same time we should doubtless be spending more money on such a project than on the worlds space programs and total highway construction combined. In my humble opinion, Timothy B. Lewers
No. We cannot stop volcanic eruptions of any type.
no it is not true
I do not
Vents in the volcano are passage ways for the magma, steam, and heat to escape the earth.
yes yes it is
No. We cannot stop volcanic eruptions of any type.
The best super volcano is most likely the "hidden" volcano in Yellowstone park.
super volcan
The entire park of Yellowstone rest on a super volcano
no it isn't the mauna loa is the largest volcano in Hawaii
at the volcano
The last super volcano with a magnitude of VEI 8 was 26500 years ago in New Zealand. And the last super volcano with a magnitude of VEI 7 was 197 years ago in Indonesia.
If Ben Nevis was ever a volcano, it has been extinct for thousands of years. You may be mistaken, there is only one super volcano, or calderas, in Scotland and it has been dead since the time of the continental drift 237 Million Years ago. The Super Volcano is in the area which is known as Glencoe. It was the first Super Volcano discovered when Charles Clough first created the theory. There are currently studies happening as to whether there is a Super Volcano underneath the area of Loch Ness.
BIG!
