I was told fluid drains out of the torque converter(overnight) due to a bad inner seal when cold, once the car warms up and fluid is pumed back in the converter it operates fine.I'm going to try a additive to swell the seals,my olds acheiva(96)has over 200,000 and I'm going to try this before I drop the big bucks down. This car runs great all day but takes ten minutes to warm up in the morning, before it shifts fine
The correct phrase is "weather the storm." This means to endure a difficult situation or challenge until it passes.
El Nino is a weather phenomenon which causes extreme and unpredictable weather conditions every three to six years and can last up to twelve months. It is close to impossible to predict when the next one will occur until scientists see the warning signs occurring.
A speedometer in a 1994 Toyota Carina E 1.6 is exposed to the elements in the undercarriage of the car. Perhaps, it is not working properly until the car warms up because the cover has broken off or there is ice accumulating in that area.
By gradually exposing it to colder temperatures until it is able to stay outside in any weather.
It increases its temperature and causes the water particles to move faster and faster until they evaporate (become a gas)
you put the gear in reverse and slowly let up the clutch until the car starts moving. then just ride the clutch so you don't kill the engine.
Nothing... But it probably wont let you start it until you put it back in park.
You may have blown a head gasket. Stop driving it until you can find out.
I have a '95 Windstar and have experienced the same problem when I first start it in the morning and especially when the weather is cold. When the engine is first started, and until it warms up, it runs in a start mode until engine heat reaches a certain level. The engine sensors then control fuel/air mix to deliver the best levels of performance, as designed. It is best to let your engine warm up for 5-10 minutes on cold days. If you are in Florida, 5 minutes will do; Minnesota, 10 minutes for every 10 degrees below zero!!!
In a word, NO. I have a 1982 Goldwing Aspencade and no reverse. No reverse until the 1500's came out in 1988.
White smoke indicates you are burning engine coolant. You may have a bad head gasket or a cracked head or both. Do not run the engine until it has been repaired.
A thermostat blocks water flow until the engine reaches operating temperature. Without a thermostat installed the engine will be very slow to warm up in cold weather and interior heat will be delayed.
Sometimes the Timing belt tensioner will cause a tap or click until the engine is warm.
the reason why the coolant is spilling up over the reservoir is because the thermostat needs to be replaced because when the engine needs water the thermostat heats up from the engine and causes the springs to expant which opens a seal to allow the water throughout the engine i just realpaced the thermostat in my volkswagen
Heat the solid until it becomes a liquid or a gas.
Disconnect both heater hoses from engine side, fabricate a fitting to attach a garden hose to one of the hoses coming from the heater, direct the other hose into a container, slowly turn on the water and flush until it runs clear, then reverse hoses and flush again until clear, reconnect hoses to engine and refill reservoir.
Yes, all reverse mortgages are basically the same. A reverse mortgage is like selling your house but getting to still live in it for free until you die.
