Earth's rotation on its axis causes day and night. Earth's revolution around the sun causes the seasons.
It's called Coriolis force.
stars seams to rotate around the northern star
Those are three different questions; you would be better of asking them as three different questions on this site. The difference between rotation and revolution is that "rotation" refers to a movement of an object around its own axis; while "revolution" refers to a movement around an external object or axis - in this case, around the Sun.
i love this question. i may only be a 7th grader but i learned about them this year. revolution is when the earth is orbiting the sun and this takes a full year to do. and rotation is when the earth is rotating on its axis which takes 24 hours to do and this causes weather. it also causes the Coriolis effect which causes wind to move in a curved path. that's where cold and warm fronts come from.
Earth's rotation on its axis causes day and night. Earth's revolution around the sun causes the seasons.
Earth's revolution is the complete orbit around the Sun , it takes nearly 366 days for Earth to complete one complete revolution around the Sun. Earth's revolution causes the changes of seasons. Earth's rotation is the rotation of Earth about its axis (axis tilt of 23.4o).it takes 23 hours and 56 minutes.Earth's rotation causes day and night.
The rotation of the earth is what causes the sun to appear to set
Length of the day, Direction of sunrise, and change from light and day.
Coriolis force
Rotation is a spin on the objects axis, revolution is an object orbiting another object.
The Coriolis effect is the phenomenon that causes objects to be deflected in a curved path due to the rotation of the Earth. It influences the movement of air masses, ocean currents, and objects over long distances, leading to patterns such as the rotation of hurricanes and the direction of ocean currents.
earth's rotation around its axis and its revolution around the sun
Coriolis force
The two movements that the Earth makes are rotation and revolution. Rotation refers to the spinning of the Earth on its axis, which causes day and night. Revolution refers to the Earth's orbit around the Sun, which takes approximately 365.25 days to complete, creating the four seasons.
The Coriolis effect causes objects moving in the Northern Hemisphere to be deflected to the right due to the Earth's rotation. This effect is a result of the rotation of the Earth on its axis and causes winds, ocean currents, and objects in motion to curve to the right in the Northern Hemisphere.
It's called Coriolis force.
