The universe could have remainded unknown
No, they hadn't been invented in his day ... it was all mathematics.
Galileo Galilei is credited with inventing the telescope in the early 17th century, which he used to make significant astronomical discoveries. The thermometer was invented by Galileo's contemporary, but it is unclear who the exact inventor was because the concept of a scale measuring temperature had been developed by multiple scientists around the same time period.
Note that Galileo did not invent the telescope. He was, however, the first person to use a telescope to examine the heavens. Previously, telescopes had only been used to look at distant locations here on Earth.
There would not be any info about the solar system and a telescope would not have been invented ( I Think) No one would have invented gravity & then where would you be ? (Joke !) I think the telescope was Galileo, it pre dates Newton.
The Galileo telescope was not "discovered" but rather invented by Galileo Galilei in 1609. He was the first to use a refracting telescope for astronomical purposes, which revolutionized our understanding of the cosmos.
Lenses had been known for some time before the telescope was invented. No one really specifically "invented" the telescope lens, they simply used existing equipment (lenses) in a new device (the telescope).
I hate to break this to you, but no Canadian invented the telescope, because telescopes have been around longer than Canada has. One of the best claims on being the inventor of the telescope belongs to Galileo Galilei, who was Italian.
We cannot sea the space
Yes. Mars has been known since ancient times, long before the telescope was invented.

The first Telescope is believed to have been invented by a Dutch eyeglass and the maker is called Hans Lippershey (1570-1619) in the years 1608.

Hundreds of them. Who was first? Probably Galileo. We have no record of anyone point his new telescope at the skies before him. Probably SOMEBODY did; the telescope had been invented 5 years or so before Galileo got his first one, but nobody wrote about it.
the largest telescope ever been put into the orbits is the Hubble space telescope
