Many crops need large quantities of water, an example of one being rice.
Glaciers are large masses of snow, recrystallized ice and rock debris that accumulate in great quantities and begin to flow outwards and downwards under the pressure of their own weight. Glaciers form when yearly snowfall in a region far exceeds the amount of snow and ice that melts in a given summer. In this way, massive quantities of material accumulate in relatively small periods of geologic time. The molecules of ice being close together and because of the pressure means it would need a lot of water to make a little ice.
A graduated cylinder is appropriate for "normal" quantities. You may need a micro pipette for very small quantities.
To measure out water accurately, you typically need a measuring cup or a graduated cylinder, which has clear markings for various volumes. A kitchen scale can also be useful if you prefer to measure by weight, as 1 milliliter of water weighs approximately 1 gram. For smaller quantities, a syringe or dropper can provide precise measurements.
Water is used in the paper production process to break down wood fibers into pulp, as well as in various stages of removing impurities and drying the paper. The large volume of water is necessary to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
The waste that your body does not need is stored in your large intestine until it is eliminated as feces. Your kidneys remove excess water from this waste to concentrate it into a solid form before it is eliminated from your body.

Water dilutes the toxins and waste in the kidneys which act like large filters, when the water dilutes the waste the kidneys are forced to expel the excess water much more quickly and so the bladder fills up quickly, which is why when you drink large quantities of fluid you always need to wee!!!
Zebras are grazers, and they need large quantities of grass. They graze most of the day.
Dogs that have been drinking too much salt water must be given large quantities of fresh water. They may need an IV to keep fluid levels up. They also need to have their kidney function and vital signs monitored.
no it does not need large amounts of water to survive
Weeds reduce farm and forest productivity, theyinvade crops, smother pastures and in some cases can harm livestock. They aggressively compete for water, nutrients and sunlight, resulting in reduced crop yield and poor crop quality.Dec 18, 2014
Garden snails need water for sure! Or else the poor things will dry up. Though they will shrink into their shells for protection, they can't do that forever. Sooner or later, they would starve to death if they don't dry to death. But garden snails cannot literally swim in water, so I don't suggest to put garden snails in large quantities of water.
For plants to live they need to have water in the soil round their roots. Without water the plants will die - that is why deserts are barren.
