Respiration allows humans and a number of other organism to exchange gases between the body and the environment. Specifically, humans, upon inhalation, gain the chemical Oxygen. Oxygen is used in many cellular processes that allow for the creation of energy that we use in our every day metabolic processes. After Oxygen is "transformed" into energy, Carbon Dioxide is exchanged and exits when you exhale. Does that make sense?

All cells obtain energy from cellular respiration. Some undergo anaerobic respiration and some undergo aerobic respiration.

Where respiration occurs?

Respiration occurs in the cells.

What cells does respiration take place in?

Cellular respiration takes place in all living cells , both prokaryotic cells and in eukaryotic cells.

Does respiration happen in all cells including plant cells?

Only respiration happens in both.

What is the type of respiration where oxygen rich blood diffuses the oxygen into tissue cells called?

This type of respiration is called internal respiration. In internal respiration, oxygen diffuses from the bloodstream into the cells of tissues, while carbon dioxide diffuses from the cells into the bloodstream.

Do prokaryotic cells release energy by fermentation or by respiration?

respiration

Where in the cell does the aerobic cellular respiration occur or take place?

Prokaryotic and animal cells. As well as plant cells which preform Cellular Respiration after photosynthesis. Basically, all living organisms perform Cellular Respiration.

What type of cells do respiration do?

Eukaryotic cells (Plant cells and animal cells)

What do cells do in aerobic respiration?

In all living cells.

When occurs cellular respiration?

Cellular respiration occurs when cells oxidize food molecules into carbon dioxide and water. Cellular respiration is the process that cells use to get their energy.

How do body cells survive if no respiration takes place?

In the absence of respiration cells wiil survive because of fermentation and they will get energy from it.

What type of cell do respiration have?

Eukaryotic cells (Plant cells and animal cells)
