Don;t know about a "P" reg, but my "X" reg does about 30 to the gallon. I once worked it out to be about 11.82 (!!) but I then found out i had a faulty dash which reported my fuel level incorrectly. Fill it up to the top, and reset your trip meter. Do a journey that you can get the distance frokm a route planner (I used my daily work route). Once you've made that journey, fill up to the top again and see if you put in the same amount as your gauge reported that you used. 1. look on the web and find an MPG calculator and work out your MPG 2. If you put in less than your gauge indicated, then your fronty may be reporting higher than normal usage, leading you to belive that your MPG is way off the mark.
