Be more specific, please. There are a bunch of "Newton"s in history, but you're probably talking about Sir Isaac newton.

Sir Isaac Newton (born 1642 - died 1727) was a famous English scientist, mathematician, and astronomer.

He came up with his theory of gravity, the force that pulls just about everything towards each other. In 1687, he published Principia, the first book to explain a theory about how all of the motion in this world works.

He also did well in his work with the science of light. He discovered how sunlight is a combination of several colors, and also made a new type of telescope. His work with light layed the foundation for the study of the light spectrum.

Einstein, another one of the greatest figures of science and math in history, admitted that his work wouldn't be what it was if it weren't for Newton's discoveries.
