Quarks are fundamental particles, and three of them make up the particle group we call the baryons. The two common baryons we encounter are the proton and the neutron, which are composite particles made of of three quarks each. The proton is composed of two up quarks and a down quark, and the neutron is composed of two down quarks and an up quark. Baryons, along with mesons, are a part of the hadron family of particles. A disk of matter that circles a planet is called a "ring system." These rings are composed of rock, dust, and ice particles that orbit the planet in a flat plane. Examples include the rings of Saturn and the rings of Jupiter.

Compounds, that's how it's called
Electrons are called electric charge. They are responsible for electric current.
Particles in an atoms nucleus which do not have electric charge are Neutrons.
Neutral charges
Regina Spektor composed it :)
Nitrogen and oxygen together can form a couple of compounds. 1. Nitric Oxide, or nitrogen monoxide, is composed of one nitrogen and one oxygen. 2. Nitrous Oxide, or laughing gas, is composed of two nitrogen and one oxygen.
Ionic compounds.
Scientists use the term "matter" to refer to any physical substance that occupies space and has mass. This includes elements, compounds, and particles that make up everything in the universe.

The particles of light are known as photons.
Compounds
most ionic compounds are salt
Chemical elements and compounds were "baptized" by chemists; the official nomenclature is established by IUPAC.
