What does a meteorologist do and how are weather forecasts are prepared?

They look at pics of satellites and the atmoshere,study wind patterns and past weather history,barometric pressure,and use computers and satellites to study future weather or wind patterns. Now weather forecasts are prepared by computers and the weather man/woman read of from graphs and motion pictures of the atmoshere to tell whether if it will rain,snow or when storms may occur.
