You chew food, then the food travels down the oesophagus, into the stomach. It the gets broken up by the stomach acid(hydrochloric acid) and travels down the Juedinum, leading into the small intestines. The small intestines then take the nutrients and Glucose(sugar) and brings it into the bloodflow. the rest of the food carrys on travelling through the small intestines, and into the large intestines. The food then gets turned into feceas(poo) and placed into the rectum. Then the poo gets pushed out of the anus and out of the body as waste.
