Clear nights offer the best opportunities to see the stars, but a clear, cloudless night will often be much colder than a night with overcast conditions. This is because the clouds insulate the surface, and reflect energy back. A clear night will allow the surface heat to escape into space more easily and so it will be colder.
stars
There would be no day and night. The bright side would be much warmer, the cold side much cooler. The issue would be how many species could survive that.
For observing stars at night, it's important to wear warm and comfortable clothing to stay comfortable during long periods of stargazing. Layers are key, as temperatures can drop significantly at night. A warm jacket, hat, and gloves can help keep you cozy while you enjoy the night sky.
A star can appear bright and yet be cold if it is large and emits light predominantly in the infrared spectrum, which is less perceptible to the human eye. For example, a brown dwarf is a type of celestial object that is too low in mass to sustain hydrogen fusion like a typical star but can still emit significant thermal radiation due to its heat. This can make it appear bright in infrared observations while being relatively cool compared to hotter stars. Thus, brightness does not always correlate with temperature, especially when considering different wavelengths of light.
Three of my Galaxy's properties: 1. Big 2. Bright 3. Cold
No Laos is not cold. The weather is nice, bright and shine. it's warm almost all year round, cooler in December, January and February.
stars
There are no stars that are very cold. Even the "coolest" stars are at thousands of degrees hot; if they weren't capable of supporting nuclear fusion, they would not be stars at all - they would be planets. The "coolest" stars glow a deep red, and are not very bright.

Typically, when there are a lot of stars visible in the sky at night, it indicates clear weather, which often leads to cooler temperatures. This is because clear skies allow for heat to escape more easily into the atmosphere. So, a night with many stars is more likely to be colder.
It's a cover song, the original song's origin is unknown. But Kurt performed this at MTV Unplugged because one of his idols, Leadbelly, also covered it once. So that's the background for you. Lyrics (you could have just googled this, ya know): My girl, my girl, don't lie to me, Tell me where did you sleep last night. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun don't ever shine. I would shiver the whole night through. My girl, my girl, where will you go? I'm going where the cold wind blows. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun don't ever shine. I would shiver the whole night through Her husband, was a hard working man, Just about a mile from here. His head was found in a driving wheel, But his body never was found. My girl, my girl, don't lie to me, Tell me where did you sleep last night. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun don't ever shine. I would shiver the whole night through. My girl, my girl, where will you go? I'm going where the cold wind blows. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun don't ever shine. I would shiver the whole night through. My girl, my girl, don't lie to me, Tell me where did you sleep last night. In the pines, in the pines, Where the sun don't ever shine. I would shiver the whole night through. My girl, my girl, where will you go? I'm going where the cold wind blows. In the pines, …the pines, ……… sun, ……….shine. I shiver the whole, night through!

winter is better for viewing. The nights are much more clear albeit cold for the observer. Many of the brighter stars and contellations are visible thru the night in the winter months.
Stars make their own light, but they are not cold. Stars are extremely hot. We do not feel their heat because they are incredibly distant.
