Eriosion is the wearing away/displacement of land over time either by wind, water or ice. A certain amount of erosion is natural and, in fact, healthy for the ecosystem. For example, gravel continuously move downstream in watercourses. Excessive erosion, however, does cause problems, such as receiving water sedimentation, ecosystem damage and outright loss of soil.
Fossils form when an organism is buried quickly after death in sedimentary rock, allowing the hard parts of the organism to be preserved over time from being compressed and mineralized. The burial process must protect the remains from decomposition and physical damage.

Surrrounding the erosion with trees will in the highest degree help reduce the erosion.
Weathering is different from erosion because it breaks things down. Then erosion carries it away....:) hope i answered your question only thing is I'm learning that in fifth grade right now.
Cover cropping helps prevent erosion in two ways. Its leaves prevent raindrops and wind from getting to the soil as easily, and its roots grow closely together to create a network that holds the soil in place.
Plants importance and uses : * they provide oxygen * they provide food * they hold soil to prevent soil erosoin * they serves as medicine * they provides shelter * they serves as our clothes; they provides clothing rather * they absorb water to prevent floods, landslides and others * they beautify our surroundings

I am a farmer in the north western wheat belt of western australia. I'm not sure of which country that you are asking from but from my perspective the top animals that are a pest for us are rabbits, kangaroos, rodents (mice and rats), feral goats and emus. Not to mention any number of insect pests such as grasshoppers and caterpillars. Hope this answer helps.
