I think the effect of global warming in 30 years time might be quite big. I think maybe we will have some species that have become extinct. But 30 years is not a very big time compared to how long the earth has been around and I think that because things happen so slow on planet earth we will not be able to tell the big effects in such a short time. I also think there will be ways of how we have improved it as well because people are always going on about how bad global warming is and how we need to act now to change it, so I think we will have come up with something good, even if it is small, but it will help global warming.

The main reason for political figures to attempt to rename Global Warming to the more anemic Climate Change is that there is a string current belief that there will be little, if any, warming over the next several decades. The term allows any change to be blamed on man.

The IPCC has made claims that ocean levels could rise by as much as 1 mm per year for the next several decades. The IPCC has normally seriously overestimated all claims, so the likelihood of this is minimal.

Since 1934 the net increase in temperature has been about 0.2 degrees C.

Why is the process of global warming crucial to earth?

The process of global warming, that is the recent warming over the past 200 years since we began to seriously burn fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas), is notcrucial to earth. In fact it is extremely dangerous. The greenhouse effect, which has kept the earth warm enough for life for millions of years is crucial to earth. But the greenhouse effect is not the same as global warming.

How has global warming caused changes in living and non-living system in the last 100 years?

It may have but if you look up Global warming you might find lots of things about,Global Warm

An increase in average temperatures around the planet is known as what?

Global Warming

How might global warming affect us in 30 years?

In 30 years, global warming may affect is by changing our climate. This will change many things, such as vegetation and energy. It may also increase skin cancer.

Does the country being hot have anything to do with global warming?

The country being hot today is weather, not climate. It might have something to do with global warming, but it might not. However, if the weather is always getting hotter, after some years this becomes the climate of a place.

Is the greenhouse effect really responsible for global warming?

Yes, the greenhouse effect is a natural phenomenon which has existed here for trillions of years and protected the earth from global freezing like the ice age. But increases in greenhouse gases mostly carbon dioxide caused by man's burning of fossil fuels is causing an enhanced, or accelerated greenhouse effect which is responsible for global warming.

Could you live without global warming?

No, we need a little bit of global warming, the same amount that we have had for millions of years. The natural greenhouse effect keeps just enough heat in the atmosphere to do this. Unfortunately, we started burning fossil fuels (coal, oil and natural gas) and the carbon dioxide (CO2) released is causing the enhanced (or accelerated) greenhouse effect which is resulting in global warming.

how do panda bear react to the global warming?

The main problem about global warming and pandas is that it might ruin panda habitats. The main food source for pandas is bamboo and the problem is that bamboo can only evolve to the climate every 30-35 years. Since global warming is happening so quickly, the bamboo might not have a chance to adapt and pandas will run out of food.

Will the world end in 4 years?

I hope not, but it might. All this global warming, and increase of deaths and killings. I don't know

What contributes to maintaining the temperature on Earth?

The greenhouse effect maintains the temperature on earth as it has done for millions of years. The enhanced (or accelerated) greenhouse effect which is causing global warming has only been happening for the past 200 years.

Does global warming bounce?

No, global warming has been rising steadily since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. Most of the warming has taken place in the last 80 years, but there is no bounce.

Should you try to eliminate the greenhouse effect?

No. We need the greenhouse effect which has kept the earth warm enough for life for millions of years. But we should try to eliminate the enhanced (or accelerated) greenhouse effect which is causing global warming.
