Answermaybe some planes can fly in the mesosphere mabey they cant but they can AnswerThe mesosphere begins well abouve 100,000 feet, and normal aircraft can't fly that high. There are rocket powered aircraft that have set altitude records in the 112,000 foot range. My Answer (I got it out of my science book)

In the mesosphere are meteors (shooting stars) and the ionosphere (layer of electrically charged particles..its in the mesosphere and the thermosphere).

AnswerLockheed's SR-71s and U-2 can fly up to 80,000ft :D
