Gourds can be planted in well-draining soil with full sun exposure. They should be planted in a location with enough space for the vines to spread out, such as along a trellis or on the ground. It's important to make sure the soil is warm enough for planting, usually after the last frost date in your area.
Cauliflower plants should be planted about 18-24 inches apart and 1/2 to 1 inch deep in well-draining soil. The soil should also be rich in organic matter and the plants should receive full sun for optimal growth.
Primrose is a shade plant. It thrives best in partial to full shade, as direct sunlight can cause its delicate flowers and foliage to wilt or dry out.

Potatoes should be planted in the winter for best results, especially in Louisiana. They need full sun, and they often can't get full sun if they are planted in August, because by the time they grow, it is winter.
Asparagus plants should be planted in full sun only.
Sunflowers prefer full sun, meaning they should be planted in an area that receives at least 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day for optimal growth and bloom. If they receive less sun, they may not grow as tall or produce as many flowers.

Most flowers like all the sun they can get. The flowers I would recommend for you would be: sunflowers, lilies, daisies, and cattails. Not any thin or fragile type of flowers.

Cherry trees grow best in zones 4, 5, 6, and 7. They can be planted in any soil and require full sun exposure.

Dont water them too much because too much water will cause the flowers to wilt. Also put in a place where it will get sun at least a couple times a day if you are wanting to have them in vases inside. Not too much sun though. If your flowers are planted outside, then water them once a day.
