If you happen to be watching the full moon at the time, you notice that over a

period of a few hours, a shadow creeps across the moon, the moon becomes

dark and perhaps even difficult to see for a while, then the shadow creeps off

of the moon, and the moon is full again.

If you happen to be not watching the full moon at the time, then you notice nothing.
