Recessive
The dominant gene will always "cover up" the recessive gene, although there are instances of codominance, in which both phenotypes will be displayed, because one gene is not completely dominant over the other. There is also what is called 'incomplete dominance', when the actual phenotype is somewhere between the two.
A hypothetical gene is a predicted gene sequence that has not been experimentally characterized or validated. It is based on computational predictions and analysis of genomic data, and its functions and existence may require further experimental verification.

Carrier
A trait variation that is hidden by the presence of another variation is known as epistasis. In genetics, this occurs when the effect of one gene is masked or suppressed by another gene, leading to a phenotype that doesn't fully express all potential traits. For example, in certain plant species, one gene may determine flower color, while another gene may govern the presence or absence of flowers altogether, thus obscuring the color variation. As a result, the observable trait is influenced by the interaction of multiple genes rather than by a single gene alone.
Recessive
That is a dominant gene.
This gene is called a recessive gene. However, there are time when it can show up.
Gene Gene the Dancing Machine, wearing a green warm-up suit, was a beloved stage crew member on the television show "The Gong Show." His energetic dance routines became a signature part of the show.
This is not possible.
recessive. This means that the trait coded by the gene will only be expressed if an individual inherits two copies of the gene, one from each parent. If an individual only inherits one copy of the gene, the dominant gene will be expressed instead.
recessive
Recessive.
A recessive gene is a gene whose effect can be hidden in the presence of a dominant allele. This means that an individual needs to inherit two copies of the recessive allele in order for its effects to be observed.
A person with a hidden gene for a particular disease is commonly called a carrier. This person carries a gene for a disease, however, the disease may not always attack the person's body.
A recessive gene is a gene that is only expressed if an individual has two copies of it, one inherited from each parent. In the presence of another dominant gene, the recessive gene's trait is not expressed.
Ginger or red hair is a recessive gene, the most rare hair color in fact - meaning if its combined with any other gene brunette/black (even blonde) it won't show up (phenotype) Unless the father has a recessive (hidden) ginger gene as well, then the chances would be 50%.
