Although we have a predetermined list of names for storms in 2013, any system that becomes a tropical or subtropical storm will be named. We have no way of knowing which storms will reach hurricane strength or where or when they will hit, or if any of them will have a major impact. Additionally, it is highly unlikely that all of the names will be used.
