If the sun was somewhere else we will not have the day and no hot weathers, also it will be dark only.
To put it more simply, there would be no life as we know it on Earth because it would just be a frozen lump of ice-covered rock. So be glad the Sun is where it is!!
Essentially yes, the sun always rises in the east and sets in the west.

The sun is at its highest point at noontime. Not exactly certain what you mean by place nearest the sun at noon.
The Earth is the third planet from the Sun.
The most thermonuclear reactions on the sun, take place in the core.
The sun stays in the same place, because we are rotating on an axis the sun appears to move. When its night time where you are the sun is shining on a different part of the earth.
No becauce when the sun is down in one place and say its 12 pm the sun will be up in the other side of the world as we orbit around it but it cant be 12 pm there can it ? .... So times are different in different countries
Yes, the Sun is a place in our Solar System.
No. Smoke is a mixture of products of combustion, which is a chemical reaction. The "burning" that takes place in the sun is not combustion; it is nuclear fusion, which is a completely different process.
A 'place in the sun' meant a pleasant colony.

If you are in the same place, the rainbow will always appear in the same place because it all has to do with the angle you are at in relation to the sun (42 degrees - see the related link). So if you are always in the same spot (e.g. at your desk at work), the sun will be coming from the same same angle, creating the rainbow in the same spot. My understanding of what I've read, you'll only see a rainbow in a certain place in the sky from the same spot at a certain time of the year because the sun moves depending on the season. Also, it is not only the angle of the sun but also the height of it that has to be the same.
no because the earth orbits the sun so the sun will be in a different place so solar panels cant move stupid question it is common sense
The sun does not have enough oxygen.Strange as it seems, the sun is just too hot for burning to take place.
