One comes across this problem while selecting connectors in equipement terminal made of cu and connector is made of Al. One is not sure if one needs to use some bimeatalic plate in this case and why its not recommended to connect Cu with Al in this case. What would be the impacts??
The success of a copper to aluminum connection depends upon the amount of current involved, but copper to copper is a better connection than copper to aluminum.
Copper is a good conductor of electric current and so is aluminum but the resistivity of the two metals differ and could result in differential heating to distort the metal connectors in high ampere or voltage.Other than this there will be no difference if one connects copper to aluminum.
Aluminium is more reactive than copper. Aluminium can react with oxygen in the air to form a protective oxide layer, while copper does not readily react with oxygen.
An aluminium bronze is an alloy of copper containing 5 percent to 10 percent aluminium.
Nothing, they simply form a mixture in molten state. A mixture of 10% Aluminium in copper is Aluminium bronze.
There are some "aluminium bronze" alloys which contain aluminium copper with a small amount of iron and other metals- these are mainly copper with 4-8% aluminium and ess than 1% of other metals.
Aluminium weighs less than copper for the given volume
copper
Pure copper hasn't aluminium.
copper and aluminium are metals since their metals the effect is that their good conductors
An aeroplane body is made up of an alloy (meaning: mixture of metals) of aluminium and copper. This is as aluminium is very light and cheap, but it needs copper as aluminium is too brittle. This way the plane have a weight of aluminium but the felexibility of copper!
copper aluminium iron and steel is an excellent conductor of electricity and heat is one of the properties of copper aluminium iron and steel and it is used in conducting electricity.
Stainless steel is heavier then aluminium.

The copper wires used connect. Because conductivity of Cooper higher than aluminium but price of Cooper higher than aluminum. If compare between copper and aluminium cable can see at the same current rate diameter of aluminium cable is larger than copper cable.
